Dependant upon experience

You will develop strong commercial relationships with Dealer network of a leading OEM, assisting them to increase their used car business profitability and build their warranty sales business. You will support and coach dealership employees in the areas of used car displays, stock and sales processes and measurement of the used car market. Your territory will cover Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England so you should manage your time to ensure that regular visits are conducted with all Dealerships with maximum efficiency.

Reporting to the Automotive Account Manager, you will work as part of remote team. You will have regular team meetings where you share and exchange best practice, market information and also receive any updated training.

You Will

  • Assist the Dealer network with all aspects of their car performance including financial key metrics, used car display and warranty sales
  • Work with OEM to ensure awareness of action plans, recommendations and Dealer performance
  • Coach Dealerships to develop and grow used car sales in the network against an agreed set of KPIs and objectives
  • Provide training of the bespoke warranty extranet system for warranty applications and warranty claims
  • Manage your time to ensure that you visit dealerships within your assigned territory on a regular basis

You Have

  • Strong experience in automotive retail and the ability to analyse and interpret dealership financial data
  • Knowledge of the used car sales, stock management and lead management processes
  • Experience in warranty sales, or as an Automotive Sales Manager is desirable
  • The ability to create strategic reports
  • The ability to commit to travel in your territory, including overnight stays as needed by the role
