If you were to join us as a Preparation Centre Manager, here is what you want to know.



Salary £40K with a bonus based on personal and company performance. This role also comes with a company car

Location: Motherwell

Hours: 5 days out of 7 on a Rota. Weekend working will be required



Our Preparation Centre Managers report into our Regional Operations Manager and have responsibility of leading in leading a talented team of Vehicle/PDI Technicians and Preparation Specialists to prepare, PDI and service all vehicles for site displace and customer collection in a safe manner aligned with company H&S guidelines while role modelling our values and coaching a high performing team. This is a fast paced role and no day is ever the same.

Leadership is really key in this role, you be ensuring that every member of your team member is equipped with the support and resources needed to carry out their role through regular 121’s. You will take overall responsibility for the site and really drive preparation forward with the support of the Operations Manager.



Let us tell you a little bit about what you will be doing.

Discuss customer data with management team to identify and action areas for improvement
Ensure all available vehicles are displayed within agreed parameters/targets.
Ensure the site is aligned in process and priorities to present vehicle that meet the Motorpoint Standard
Monitor preparation spend and report in line with site budget to Preparation Manager and Head of Operations.
Manage third party suppliers/contractors ensuring quality standards are met.
Ensure all equipment, tools and the workshop environment meet Health and Safety standards.
Ensure the average time from landed to pitch is 5 days or less.
Build and develop a high performing team and ensure a succession pipeline for key roles
Develop a culture that reflects our values and is underpinned with coaching conversations
Inspire your team to deliver on Targets and the Company Vision.
Establish the site as a key part of the community and raise its profile through Giving Something Back
Report on customer returns and refunds, and work with the management team to make improvements where appropriate.
Review of Contact hub dashboard and review actions alongside the management team and site Customer Service Manager
Discuss customer data with management team to identify and action areas for improvement
Review and monitor post PDI good to go spends
Manage all areas of compliance at your site to ensure no risk to the business
Ensure All vehicles are represented online with high quality photographs
