Commercial Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has opened for a driven Commercial Operations Manager to join our Sales Operation Department. This role will support the development and execution of Hyundai’s sales strategy for all sales channels. You will support the delivery of the national new car sales target and profit objective and co-develop network policy to ensure delivery of a national sales and profit objectives. You will also co-coordinate the national sales and wholesales FC for all channels. The successful candidate will create and develop a high performing team through effective and motivational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a key leader within our Sales functions rolling out our strategy to drive sales quality and sales process excellence
  • Work Cross functionally to develop network commercial policy to achieve national sales and profit targets
  • Identify, develop and launch initiatives and tools to support delivery of sales and profit targets
  • Responsible for the development and management of the digital Sales transformation programme
  • Play a key role in leading our AFV and EV Sales within our Dealer network
  • Develop relationships with key technology providers to enable us to develop forward thinking sales and support programmes for our customers
  • Build relationships with Hyundai Motor Europe (HME) to support company broader company-wide projects as required
  • Working cross functionally across our HME Business to ensure the work we undertake is reflective of key priorities in all customer facing areas of our business
  • Development of key sales tools such as bonus calculators and national sales presentations
  • Development our lead management programmes, to ensure we are funnelling customer leads into dealers effectively and efficiently
  • Responsibility for all Sales and Commercial programme analytics and data science

Person Specification

    • Strong automotive experience within Sales functions
    • Confident and accomplished presenter with strong communication and negotiation skills
    • An advocate for AFV & EV products, with a mind-set to lead a change in our consumer behaviours
    • High levels of energy drive to achieve team and personal targets
    • Ability to work cross functionally to deliver results
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to gain commitments
    • Disciplined, well organised, with good attention to details
    • Strong commercial acumen and profit focus
    • Ability to thrive under pressure
