Head of Business – Poole Audi

Ocean Automotive is looking to recruit a new Head of Business for its Audi Centre in Poole, Dorset.

Ocean Automotive represents the Audi brand in both Poole and Yeovil retailing both new and approved used cars, along with manufacturer approved servicing, repairs and parts. We also operate other franchise dealerships along with two group accident repair businesses.

The role of an Audi Head of Business is to effectively manage the resources within the Audi Centre to achieve the required business objectives including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels.

The Key Objectives will be:

  • Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business are understood and communicated by the Audi Centre team.
  • Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching with the managers and employees of the Audi Centre.
  • Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the Brand.
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop high calibre departmental managers in line with organisational requirements.
  • Develop and monitor the business plan for all sales areas with senior managers and Audi (UK) in order to meet business objectives, profit margins and market penetration. To include formulating and agreeing marketing activities and budgets.
  • Ensure that all Audi Franchise operating standards are regularly achieved and that the business adheres to current UK legislation to include responsibility for aspects of compliance and risk management.
  • Work with the wider team to embrace the culture and standards at Ocean Automotive.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a forward-thinking leader with the energy, drive and focus to achieve outstanding business results.

You will have an innate ability to ability to motivate and lead people at all levels, have excellent commercial acumen and know how to optimise performance whist delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who can operate at a highly professional level with strong management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will have the capacity to absorb, interpret and action complicated trading terms and deliver to target with passion and integrity.

You will need to have a proven track record in Dealership Management at General Manager/Dealer Principal Level with an understanding of the local business market and motor industry legislation.
