Volkswagen Group UK is wholly owned by Volkswagen AG and is one of the most successful automotive manufacturers in the world, with some of the most iconic brands that the industry has ever seen. But we're also a great Sales & Marketing operation in our own right. We have over 800 permanent employees and a network of more than 1,000 dealerships in the UK. Operating out of Milton Keynes, Volkswagen Group UK sells half a million vehicles every year. In fact, one in every five cars sold in the UK is a Volkswagen Group brand.

However, what really sets us apart is how we work – not how many vehicles we sell. VWG UK has a unique culture, built on diversity, difference and a friendly rivalry that inspires us all. Across our brands, we learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.

Group Aftersales (GA) is a team of 2,000 experts, working out of 6 locations and 250 Trade Parts and Body Centres around the UK. Together, we work with our colleagues across the business to ensure our customers remain loyal. Sometimes we lead, sometimes we enable, but always we work to deliver sustainable, profitable, growth.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technical Support Specialist to join our successful Group Aftersales Technical Support team on a full time permanent basis. Your responsibilities will be to provide our Group network (all 6 brands) with high quality technical support via remote diagnosis, including our state of the art augmented reality support solution and dealer on site visits. You will take ownership of information and guidance provided, taking a customer centric approach whilst meeting Group global quality targets.

You will have proven track record of using your diagnostic capability on a range of vehicle technology and a wide experience in all aspects of vehicle repairs. As this is a customer focused role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to interact with our customers. Problem solving and producing positive resolutions, as well as creating and implementing preventative measures will be a primary focus. You will have a keen interest in technology and the future direction of the automotive industry.

So what can we offer you? As an inclusive employer we know people value different things, so along with a competitive salary, car and discretionary bonus, we offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle including hybrid working.

At Volkswagen we are proud to say we have a unique culture, built on diversity, difference and a determination to succeed that inspires us all. Across our brands and group functions, we are striving to learn from each other, encourage each other and regularly challenge each other to think differently. Our people have a true passion for what they do, a genuine desire to go further for customers and to give their own careers real momentum at the same time.
